About Kate

Kate is an accomplished, multi-published author of sensual love stories that make you think. Her first full length novel, The Yearning, was published in April 2013 by Simon & Schuster to rave reviews. Her second novel, Being Jade, has readers begging for more.

Kate's short stories have featured in a number of Australian literary prizes and she has appeared on panels at Australia's major literary fesitvals speaking about erotic writing, feminine power and sexuality. Her passion for gender equality, social justice and wry humour are never far from the surface.

Kate holds a tertiary qualification in chemistry, half a diploma in naturopathy and a diploma in psychological astrology. Kate believes in living a passionate life and has ridden a camel through the Australian desert, fraternised with hippies in Nimbin, and lived on nothing but porridge and a carrot for 3 days.

Kate lives, writes and loves in Melbourne, juggling secret affairs with her male characters with her much loved partner and daughter and a menagerie of neurotic pets.
